The Isle of Skye is not a big place; according to Wikipedia, there are only 9,200 people on it, and its biggest town has only 2264. The main industries are tourism, fishing and making whisky. So it is surprising to find that it has an established architectural practice, the appropriately named Rural Design Architects. doing some lovely modern designs like the Hen House in Fiscavaig.
