There are so many things we can do to make our houses more comfortable and use less air conditioning. Note, I am not saying get rid of air conditioning and die of the heat, or be miserable. It's a call for moderation and careful, climate appropriate design. I rounded up quite a few of my suggestions in a slideshow here.
