Salvaged Wood Platter These Canadian platters are handmade from 100% salvaged urban wood and finished with a food safe oil. They are made from either elm or maple and each is a different shape and size. They are extremely well made, with rubber feet to protect the surface of your table and brushed nickel handles. They are meant for serving only, not for use as a cutting board (I usually use mine as a cheese tray with crackers and fruit surrounding the cheese for an impressive display). It's easy to clean, and every once in a while I just rub some olive or vegetable oil into it to protect the wood. (Salvaged Wood Platter, $39-$69)
