It’s a bloody scene as shark fins are separated from the carcasses in Manta, Ecuador.

Shark fin soup was once an Asian delicacy reserved for the wealthy but with a growing and more affluent middle class, it is now common fare at weddings, banquets and business meetings. This growing demand puts added pressure on an already vulnerable creature.
