Says Weiss, "I was privileged to be able to visit the Botswana Predator Conservation Trust (BPCT), Wild Dog Research Camp, just outside the boundary of Moremi Game Reserve, a national park in Botswana.
"Wild dogs are highly endangered across Africa, and the BPCT researchers are working on 'Bio-boundaries,' analyzing scent data, to better understand the key ‘phrases,’ if you will, of what an individual animal is saying. A bio-boundary is the line drawn in the sand, so to speak, that outlines your turf. "
