Fruit salsas which depend on the usual peach or mango are loved by many, but maybe just a little less surprising now that they've had a few decades to make the rounds. Which is why I adore this recipe for Kiwi and Jalapeño Salsa. It's different, and a perfect mash-up of a fruit salsa and a green tomatillo salsa -- make it spicy and you have the a bright bling-y piquant accent to spark up any dish on hand. (I also think that without the onion it would be smashing on lime sorbet, but that's just me.)
