Top Tweets of the Week on: Earth Day 2009
Activism this Earth Day abounds, and the Green Apple Festival was one of the biggest ways to get involved. The event, which ran from April 17-19 in major US cities, boasted a massive group of people volunteering to help out at various locations and non-profit groups, and provided free concerts with major headlining bands as a thank you to all the people who volunteered. It was definitely the way to get involved in pre-Earth Day activism, and to get psyched up for Earth Day itself.
