When I first wrote about Richard Shilling's land art for our Photo of the Day, I noted the chromatic spectrum he created with rowan berries.

In this series of land art sculptures, Shilling has once again utilized the spectrum of colors found in nature. Using organic materials available to all of us - leaves, twigs, and plants - Shilling creates simple structures that draw our attention with minimal form to the depth of detail found in forests.

Above are three color wheels from his Leaves and Light series, which highlight the phases of color change and use the sun's rays to enhance the pop of color.
