The structured, striking jewelry from German artist Ute Decker is unlike anything you're likely to find at your local mall: necklaces, bracelets, cuffs, and rings inspired by the Japanese idea of wabi sabi, which indicates that the negative space created by the pieces is as critical to the final look as the sculpture itself.

They're constructed from Fair Trade gold, recycled silver, and sunflower-derived resins, and Decker chooses renewable energy, recycled packaging, and a web host that offsets her site's carbon footprint to keep her process sustainable from start to finish.
