Posters from the Past that Can Guide Us in the Future (Continued)
This summer we have seen a lot of interest in posters from the World Wars, thanks to the opening of an exhibit at the National Agricultural Library. There is a wonderful online presentation of the show, curated by Corey Bernat, at Beans are Bullets.
I have been fascinated by the similarity in the messages from the two World Wars to the messages environmentalists are saying today: walk more, conserve more, save more. We previously looked at food, gardening and canning with Food Posters From the Past are Recipes for the Present; here we look at more posters addressing conservation.
