When we first wrote about the 2013 Ford Fusion Energi plug-in hybrid (PHEV) almost a year ago, it received a lot of attention and many seemed to be excited at the idea of a mid-size plug-in sedan.

At the time there as no word on pricing, but the suspense is now over. According to Car and Driver, Ford will price the Fusion Energi at $39,495 for the less-expensive SE Luxury trim, and the top of the line Fusion Energi Titanium will cost $40,995. That's before a federal tax credit, which will probably be around $4000, and state tax credits.
