Alex reported on a conceptual design/biology project in which Belgian designer-cum-scientist is developing a diet to make pigeons poop soap, and then a system for delivering that soap onto car windshields and other urban surfaces that need a good scrub.
Alex's story was dated April 10th, so this certainly wasn't an April Fools on our end. As for Tuur van Balen, you'd have to ask him.
