Just a Huge Tree From a Long Time Ago...

Randomly stumbled across this photo of a huge sequoia tree from Sequoia National Park on the internets and thought you guys & gals might also enjoy seeing it. It's sad to think that back in the day, many of these majestic ancient trees (some over a thousand years old, with the oldest specimen known being 2,200 years old) were cut for fun, and that the big ones that are still around today are probably still standing because they were smaller than what was around at the time.
