A Coloring Book for Your Gardening Child

© American Society of Botanical Artists

The American Society of Botanical Artists has produced a coloring book of thirty-six pen and ink drawings of fruits and vegetables. The coloring book pairs each drawing with information on the origins and uses of each the fruits and vegetables featured.

I came across the coloring book while browsing City Farmer, and learned that a portion of the sales goes to the ASBA, a non-profit organization that promotes contemporary botanical art. Colorful Edibles looks like a good teaching tool for teachers in schools that maintain school gardens, and gardeners with kids that are involved in gardening.

You can buy the book from the ArtPlantae Books website for $8.99.
