A clever concept for a trash can would make sorting recyclables and compostables easy, maybe. It'd at least be a space-saving way to sort them. This design was created by Guisset Constance & Cid Grégory. The three different pedals at the bottom open the three compartments in different ways. THe first opens the lid of the top compartment, the second swings the middle compartment out to the side, and the third tilts the bottom compartment towards the user.

The can is intended to be used for sorting garbage and recyclables, and looks more space friendly than having bins lined up along the kitchen wall.
