Even if the safety of some kinds of pallets has been questioned, this cheap and ubiquitous material is a favorite when it comes to cheap and easy house improvement.

We've seen them everywhere from awesome temporary offices to cool media room lounging areas to furniture, bike racks and mini gardens. Now, from interior design event Casa Cor Rio de Janeiro comes another arrangement designed by Tiana Meggiolaro and Bia Mayrinck.

The two created an 'interactive room' for the show turning pallets into tables and an arrangement of shelves that serve as magazine, stationery and props holder.

Another recycling feature of the space was a wall covered with magazine clips. Not groundbreaking yet cute idea which seems easy to emulate at home.

Meggiolaro and Mayrinck have recently launched the website Click Interiores to share their ideas and taste, and they have a cool feature on upcycling window blinds and doors.
