TreeHugger is looking for interns
Oh, the hustle and bustle of the newsroom, the smell of the ink, the shaking of the presses. You won't find that at TreeHugger, but you will find a great opportunity to work as an intern on the leading media outlet dedicated to driving sustainability mainstream. We are looking for students or recent graduates in journalism to work as interns, one in in New York City and one in San Francisco.
Candidate should be good with a camera, have an eye for design, a nose for the viral, fast fingers for Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Tumblr, competence with photoshop and CMS, a wry wit, serious writing ability and be a fast learner. Oh, and being a serious treehugger helps.
While the candidates will be working closely with staff in both locations, the job requires a lot of self-motivation and drive and will be mostly virtual. It will be for up to thirty hours a week, for a four month term. Availability for the New York position as of May 15 would be an asset.
To apply please send a resumé, samples of your work and if any, links to published work to lloyd (at) treehugger.com
