Marquina Glass Dribble-free Cruet

Designed by Spaniard Rafael Marquina in 1961, redesigned in 1990 (see pics below). Manufactured by Nani Marquina. Rafael looked to chemistry glassware design in order to come up with this beautiful and dribble-free design. Stylistically, this piece will look great in 50 years. It's mono-material and glass is one of the most effectively recycled materials out there. Great gift at $32. :: Buy at Moma The cruet is 2 parts. The vessel with a funnel like top and a spout/stopper. The stopper has a space that allows air to escape (for a perfect pour) and the small dribbles caught by the funnel to run back into the bottle. Winner of 1961-62 Delta award. Heavily plagiarised. Lead free too. Made in Spain. 63/4" high. 3 3/4" diameter.

Trying to track down this new design...anyone? The stopper is stainless in this version. It looks like it has a more sleek, modern feel.
