They say it takes 30 days to break a habit. This is the same number of days as the 30-Day Vegan Challenge by bestselling author, Colleen Patrick-Goudreau.

The author of such books as The Joy of Vegan Baking, The Vegan Table, and Color Me Vegan has put together a new multimedia program online for people who want to make a change but don’t know where to start.

The 30-Day Vegan Challenge features written, audio, video content and recipes created exclusively for participants who want to live more compassionately, lose some weight, or want the health benefits of a vegan lifestyle.

According to the literature for the program, each day for 30 days, participants receive a daily email covering a different practical topic, from vegan cooking to shopping, reading labels and travel.

After a brief flirtation this summer with an all-vegetable diet I found myself falling off the wagon when I realized I was spending too much time Googling for recipes and answers to questions. Not knowing which sources to trust for information--it all became too daunting. So having all the information in one central location like this and guidance would have been helpful to someone like me.

With the holidays approaching, now may be the perfect time to audit your lifestyle and see if veganism is right for you. Why wait to make a change in how you eat and live until after the New Year when you can rid yourself of bad habits before then.

You can visit 30 Day Vegan Challenge for more information, or to sign up and start today. The program costs $35.00 but there is currently a promotion where you can join for $20.00.
