Urban gardening is more than a trend: It has become a common part of city life. When these garden try to scale up, however, they still encounter some growing pains. Will Allen, formerly of basketball fame, is stepping in to help ease that transition.Good writes:

And Allen, who once worked in corporate marketing for Procter & Gamble, has been such a pioneer in urban agriculture that he was awarded a MacArthur Foundation "Genius" grant in 2009.
