Into Food, Sustainability and Making Videos? Enter the Perennial Plate Video Contest

© Perennial Plate

From backstreet halal slaughterhouses in Queens to making your own sea salt, the Perennial Plate has been busy making videos this year. In between, they've been writing essays on topics like whether and how we should/can change the ones we love. Now they are ready for someone else to do some work too, as they launch the very first Perennial Plate video competition:

Send us your own Perennial Plate style video!!! That is, make a video about a local farm, your favorite recipe or a treaties on the Potato. Just about anything goes as long as it is within the realm of sustainable or adventurous. Once you’ve made your video, post it on Vimeo (preferable) or Youtube and then send us the link at info(at)theperennialplate.com (By December 18th) . Next week, we will post our 3 favorite videos on our Facebook page for all of our (and your) fans to vote on – and the winner’s video will be posted on our Website (and The Huffington Post) during Christmas week. Sound like fun? Good. I know its last minute, but YOU CAN DO IT!!

The winner will get some Perennial Plate t-shirts too. (Though I'd rather have Daniel and Mirra come and cook me dinner, personally speaking...)
