Latest drone view of Apple HQ shows a building as shiny as a new iPhone

There are many remarkable things about Duncan Sinfield's monthly drone flyovers of the new Apple headquarters, including how he gets to do this, to fly so low. Perhaps the anti-drone jamming devices are not yet installed.

There are also so many reasons for urbanists to hate this walled panopticon. But there is no question that Norman Foster has designed a building for the ages.

In this latest video you can see that the exterior shading devices are almost installed, landscaping is going in, solar panels are installed, theater, gym and research center are almost complete. Apple employees might get updated offices before Mac users get updated computers.

Really, how low can you go?

Nice shades. The recent unveiling of the iPhone 7 shows how Apple is obsessed with design and detailing (really, reinventing the color black?) and Norman Foster was the perfect choice of architect because he is too. There is no question, this will be a beautiful object, a building to fondle. I will leave all the urbanist complaints down in the related links.
