Green Living: A look at NYC's eco-friendly residential buildings (Infographic)

Diane at 6Sqft sends us this infographic, showing 93 LEED certified residential buildings on Manhattan Island (and one in the middle of the East River on Roosevelt Island. They highlight a few that we have covered on TreeHugger, including the Delos residences, with their Vitamin C enriched showers, The stack prefab, and the Solaire, which we called "first green residential high-rise in the nation." Back then in 2006, a green residential building was big news; now we are just like most New Yorkers, totally blasé. We shouldn't be; that's a lot of impressive green building.
