CES 2009: Panasonic's Eco Ideas Carnival (Video)
A giant sign proclaiming "Eco Ideas" caught my attention at the Panasonic booth, so I went over to see what it was about. What I discovered felt a little bit like a fair ride.
Click through for a video tour of their eco-ideas booth. First off, the eco ideas sign that drew me in led to a kiosk with an interactive display.

A visitor could click through and watch videos of eco-initiatives lead by Panasonic across the world. A lot of it was in other languages so I didn't watch too many. I wondered if that little kiosk was the extent of their green display, so I walked around the corner and found a whole carnival of greeish stuff.

What a ride.
It is interesting to note that Panasonic happened to be the company giving the most irate phone calls to the Electronics TakeBack Coalition about their TV Zombie demonstration, according to their PR contact. They also had this booming theater at the other end of their massive booth:

I can only imagine how much energy this sucked up over the course of the conference.
