Charlotte Ronson, Nigel Barker, Elizabeth Olsen, and Victoria Bartlett Celebrate Humane Society's Cool vs Cruel Campaign Awards

Designers Charlotte Ronson, Victoria Bartlett, Elizabeth Olsen, fashion photographer Nigel Barker, and Papermag's Mickey Boardman came out to support the Humane Society of the United States' (HSUS) 5th Annual Cool vs. Cruel awards ceremony in New York City last night. The Bowery Hotel was packed with animal lovers and celebrities alike to view the fur-free fashion designs by student finalists from the Art Institutes. The year long campaign traveled to the Art Institutes educating students--and future fashion designers--about animal cruelty, encouraging them to go fur-free, and challenging them to enter the fashion competition. Ingrid Bergstrom-Kendrick from the Art Institute of Vancouver was awarded first place and will intern with VPL Designer Victoria Bartlett (above). The Humane Society's CEO and President Wayne Parcelle honored Charlotte Ronson and Papermag's Mickey Boardman the Compassion in Fashion Award for their long-time support of the campaign.
