The year long campaign traveled to the Art Institutes educating students--and future fashion designers--about animal cruelty, encouraging them to go fur-free, and challenging them to enter the fashion competition. Ingrid Bergstrom-Kendrick from the Art Institute of Vancouver was awarded first place and will intern with VPL Designer Victoria Bartlett (above). The Humane Society's CEO and President Wayne Parcelle honored Charlotte Ronson and Papermag's Mickey Boardman the Compassion in Fashion Award for their long-time support of the campaign.
