Sea Bags brings reusing sails for good to another level with their limited edition Cure Bags. Not only do these handmade bags have a story--the fabric has literally sailed the ocean blue--but they also help fund breast cancer research with 50% of sales proceeds benefiting the Maine Cancer Foundation. Sea Bags was recently honored for their leadership in the annual Cure Campaign with the Grassroots Award from the Maine Cancer Foundation. The Maine-based company has participated in the campaign for the past two years--and raised $18,000 last year alone. The owners have a personal connection to the cause--as family member have been touched by cancer--and they are determined to make a difference this year with their donation.
