Erika Storage Has A Place For Everything

A jury consisting of Volker Albus, Konstantin Grcic, Alfredo Häberli and Axel Kufus carefully selected the individual equipment with kitchen utensils to be stored at the panels. The selection is based on suggestions originating from the designer-team 'Storno'. Therefore the shape of the holding racks was adjusted to accommodate the form of each selected product.

A group of designers appear to have even selected the type of glass, plate, utensil or radio you must own for its design appropriateness.

Interesting idea. Frank Lloyd Wright often designed everything in a house, down to the silverware; Now designers are essentially picking every single thing you own to ensure it matches and looks good on their exposed shelving system.

It doesn't take up much space, and it does impose a certain order and discipline upon what can be a pretty disorganized space, the inside of a cupboard. One is certainly going to learn to live with less if every purchase involves a new piece of kitchen cabinet to display it on as well.
