I remember a couple years ago one of the top editors at MAKE telling me LEDs were not more efficient than incandescents or fluorescents. He just couldn't comprehend they were going to be the future of lighting design. Pig headed tech graduate stuck in this old engineering ways with no vision, just the ego thrill of being an editor at some fancy magazine.
I started yelling at him for being such a pathetic idiot, and all he could come up with was to tell me I was just some angry burned out eco-activist.
Keep in mind guys like that go through ivy league tech schools graduating with physics degrees and go on to build nuclear reactors for the Navy.
Having brain cells that can compute fancy algorithms don't make you smart in the head. It just makes you more dangerous to all living things.
