Michele Bachman Watch: She is Responsible for Lower Gas Prices

I will be almost sorry if Michele Bachmann loses tomorrow, she is so entertaining. In this video she takes credit for the fall in oil prices.
"We saw gas at $2.04 today. That was my goal, when I started this year I wanted to get gas below two dollars a gallon and we are almost there..."

It would be great if the State on MN had such an effect on the price of gas that it became a bell weather input of macroeconomics. Suffice to say, this is hardly the case and id truly a clear indication of just how much of a space cadet Bachmann is.
Heck the lies! What's the word?

The delusion is strong in this one young Jedi.
It is nice to see the gas prices coming down but at the same time disappointing since the consumer will look back toward the SUV and truck as an affordable commuter vehicle.
There is seemingly no end to the amount of ridiculous comments that spew from this woman's mouth. How can you not love it? She wants the news media to investigate each member of congress to see who is "unamerican" -- based on her own set of nationalistic standards of course. And now she claims that she is responsible for the reduction in gas prices. Brilliant.
So does that mean we can blame her when gas prices inevitably go up again? That being said, how long after the election do you think it will take for gas prices to go up? I'm half of the mind that the oil companies let gas prices drop so that it wouldn't be on the minds of Americans when they go to the polls. After all, the oil companies control the bottlenecks and therefore control the supply, so it's not that crazy of an idea. And it's widely known that oil companies heavily support Republicans.
