Designers and Agents is launching their first Green Market, a sustainable trade event that will unite fashion, designers, and community in the name of green. Bono’s Edun imprint, Stewart & Brown, CAMPER, Loomstate and Namaste Green House are among the featured designers that will participate in the show, which will take place in Los Angeles on October 17-19. The focus of the event will be sustainable design—which is why the foremost brands have been selected on their being exemplary pioneers in the field.
To apply, designers must offer proof that a minimum of 60 percent of their products come from sustainable practices.
In addition to the fashion and designers, there are a slew of other innovatively eco-related reasons to attend the event. From the press release:
-Designers & Agents has already been granted a LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability) seal of approval for the D&A GreenMarket event. Every guest of the launch party will have a tree planted on their behalf through the partner organization Goodlife. There will be special installations by EcoShack, Permacouture, living plant art, furniture lounges by Fordbrady, and a live musical performance from His Orchestra.
