Last week we asked if you had flipped out yet; it seems we were just getting started. Collin recently made some recommendations for frugal green living, including riding or walking on trips under two miles, hanging your laundry, lowering your thermostat and eating less meat. Lots of us have made changes in our lifestyles in the last few years, but have the events of the last week caused you to change your ways more rapidly and radically?

I've always been frugal. It comes from being raised by a single working mom who was raised by teachers who survived the depression and had seven kids...

But I was watching The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy a few days ago and thought "What we all need is a guidebook with the words "Don't Panic" written on the cover in large, soothing letters."

:-)

I've cut back on some nonessentail spending but I haven't cut back completely. I also don't worry about what I do have (at least not yet).
