Appel and Frank is bringing a night of eco-themed fashion to San Francisco on Thursday, October 23rd. Eco-inclined shoppers will find the night especially tailored to environmentally friendly wares—and the first 300 guests to walk through the doors will receive a reusable gift bag filled with green goodies like mineral makeup, organic tea, Green Zebra guides, Bloomsberry chocolate, and more.
You can preorder tickets to the event online at the two-for-one price of $15. There’ll be complimentary wine from Seven Daughters (though it's not organic) and free manicures.
Plenty of green designers like the intriguingly eco becauseatom and Fair Tribe, which makes organic and fair trade French style clothing, will be on hand to show off their goods. In addition to the eco-clothing designers, there’ll be mineral makeup vendors, ethical jewelers, natural bath product companies, environmental media groups, vintage clothes sellers, advocacy groups, and more. Basically, it’ll be a busy, busy, eco-fashion filled night.
Thanks to tipster Heidi.

Yay. Buy more stuff. Its green and eco and chic, so buy more stuff. Never mind the fact that your 401K is now worth next to nothing, you owe more on your house than its worth, and the entire economy is basically collapsing around you. No, never mind that, just BUY MORE STUFF.

Above comments aside, it would be nice if they did stuff like this in my area (Ft. Lauderdale).
Yea, real nice. BTW, how's your 401K doing right now? DOW is down below 10,000.
But who cares! It would be so nice to be able to buy lots of eco-chic garbage, with money you don't have, all over this country. That's right, BUY MORE STUFF, for tomorrow we die.
To Sunshine...yes it would be nice if our area would do stuff like this.. we're the "sunshine state" but yet far from eco friendly and no green events or anything here

p.s. I'm in Pembroke Pines just south of FTL

DOW is now well below 9000. But no matter, buy all this eco-chic earth friendly nik-nak garbage, for you have nothing else to live for.
