Update: Robot Bike Storage in Tokyo

Earlier this year we showed a lousy video in Japanese describing a robotic bike storage system. Now the Washington Post shows a much better one, in English, describing the machine.

That's fantastic.
Before anyone complains about the electricity usage, just be glad of the car it helps remove from the road (I'm fortunate that I can lock my bike up inside at work, there is no way I'd leave it at the bike stands in a station, even with the £80 lock I have).
We need these in the UK, more due to bike theft than lack of space.
