On the lighter side... This video from Street Extreme (embedded below in this post) must be seen to be believed. Who knew the quiet little Prius could be turned into a barely recognizable loud, eye-peeling orange mutant. Not exactly my thing (15 LCD screens?), and not exactly green, but it will appeal to some people for sure (the 4,400-watt stereo would be a hit with my neighbor and his friends).
The mods were made by Claes Gustafson and the employees of Classe's Garage in Sweden.

though it certainly isn't my tastes either, i feel this is a very important step. the ability of "green" technology to also be percieved as "cool" to the average american is crucial to it's widespread acceptance.
Wouldn't all that extra stuff drain the battery....and then cause it to be less efficient?

Modders often find ways to make vehicles not only to look better (in their eyes) but also to run faster/better/ more efficiently.
I can't find anything but I'm hoping that they also modded this into a PHEV.

That thing has what, a 1/16th of an inch clearance, come on now, we don't need any more curb rubbing low riding rice burners in the states.
Talk about trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear. Come to think about it that would have been greener!
