Where are my glasses? These kids look mighty hairy!
A family in Anchorage, Alaska, decided to build an outdoor playground for their young children (two sons, 3 and 4 years old).
"They finished building it on Saturday evening, and the following morning, as mom was about to wake up the boys and have them go out to play in their new play center, this is what she saw from the upstairs window."

By the way...
I've signed the We Campaign's petition to put polar bears on the federal Endangered Species list.

The We Campaign is an effort launched by Al Gore and the Alliance for Climate Protection to promote solutions to the climate crisis. It's an urgent issue, but the climate crisis is also solvable if we work together and unite our leaders around solutions like renewable power and enhanced energy efficiency. We can leave the next generation a healthy climate.
"If you go down to the woods today
You're sure of a big surprise

Today's the day the teddy bears have their picnic"
Get a haircut, you hippies!
always wanted to say that...
Awesome pictures! Every time I see wild animals engage with human-domestic environments, I come to think the natural beauty of animals.
keep in mind that this is Alaska's largest city, with almost half of all residents living or working in Anchorage. We share our city with eagles, moose, black bears, and grizzlies. It's very important to manage your garbage and pets in these parts!
that is too cute!
that is incredibly cute
these bears are funny but cute.......

"I"ll sign it as soon as there is a problem with the polar bear population, and not just another way to stop us from drilling for oil!"
sounds like a good plan, wait until it truly is too late to try to save them. That plan was used for the Yangze River Dolphin and look how well that turned out!.. oh wait they are extinct now...
oil more important than the preservation of a living being that if it disappears will never walk or swim on this earth ever again? Is it truly worth it? In 50 years people like you can say to your grandkids "its because of people that think like me that polar bears are extinct."

Dude, where's my habitat?
So cute! Too bad she didn't get a video!
