Clicked on the No Impact Man article about trash reduction, and right next to the title over at PG, I see: "Brought to you by WAL*MART."
The warm fuzzies, they don't stop.
Maybe we can have the articles on food sponsored by Monsanto.
Thats irony at its finest "reduct your impact and buy more crap at walmart". Even putting that aside I found errors without even reading past the first 4
"1. No soda in cans (which means we're probably less likely to get cancer from aspartame)."
Can't don't contain aspartane, sugar substitute does, this implies that if you drink soda from a bottle then your safe? Besides asparatne is only in diet soda and even though its makers claim it doesn't cause any harm, MHO is that sugar is more natural so if I drink soda I drink non diet (aspartane gives me a migrane anyway). Stopping the sentence at 'no soda'. would be more accurate.
"3. No coffee in disposable cups (which means we don't suffer from the morning sluggishness that comes from overnight caffeine withdrawal)."
So coffe in a non disposable negates the effects of caffeine?
Come on, if were going to make statements put some thought into them and get them accurate. And don't sell out to companies like walmart selling 'green' items made in china and shipped around the world.
