We’re all about CSA’s and community gardens here at TreeHugger, but this might be the first time we’ve come across a community co-operative specifically dedicated to keeping chickens. Run by a group of urbanites in Portland, Oregon, the co-operative was formed to supply eggs to its members, and to a local CSA. This video came to us via Cookingupastory, the same folks who brought us video last week of dairy farmers encouraging birdlife as a natural form of pest control.
