I've been drafting for years, not only does fuel consumption go down but it's a lot quieter, too. Word of advice, though: might be obvious, but most people don't like it when you tailgate!
Rather, let karma take it's course. Some people just CAN'T STAND IT if you are not going the speed they like, and will make a point of passing you, then slowing down as if they are "teaching you a lesson". Let them, and reap the benefits of less wind resistance.
