Yes, that's nice. It's good that vintage gets a little star notice. BUT. . .
Not everyone can do this. First, there aren't that many quality vintage pieces. Most clothing from the last century got worn out long ago. Second, most existing clothing is in smaller sizes. Third, a few fine things deserve to get preserved as art, rather than worn to rags.
As always, your mileage may vary. Just consider that the best way to get a vintage look might be to sew your own copy, or modify a modern style.
