We've already written about how geneticist Craig Venter wants to create 4th generation biofuels from a CO2 feedstock, but now you can see for yourself his complete talk at this year's TED (the discussion about making biofuel starts about 13 minutes into the talk).

A very educational and interesting talk.
He makes it understandable even to those who don't understand the science.

Thank you!
I desparately needed that - especially following the Pope's statements; I was getting so depressed and had lost hope for the human race. This has renewed me. There is real reason to believe that we may learn what we need to overcome the devastation of our population and waste.
If we survive without a global war, it will be because of visionaries like Craig Venter.
I wonder why these new projects never make it to the streets.
I`ve read articles, listen to lectures, and watched video`s on many New Sources of Fuel being explaind, and, how this New Source will change the world.
I have done this for decades, and, what do we end up with, nothing.
