Interesting view, but its missing at least one major interstates (I don't see I-83). Obviously he had to leave out the minor interconnectors (the ones that have 3 numbers).
You can't take route 70 from Harrisburg to Baltimore.
It would be a *little* bit better if it was spacially more accurate.
57 is missing too...although I guess it only runs from Chicago to east of St. Louis...
"Simplified" is right...
It is also missing I-94, I-43, I-39. It also misses major cities such as Milwaukee (I-90, I-94, I-43), Madison (I-90, I-94) and Green Bay (I-43). I can undertand not listing Madison or Green Bay but Milwaukee is the 22nd largest city in the US with Boston is 24th and Denver is 25th.
It's also flat-out incorrect in the Montana/Wyoming area. I-25 intersects I-90 in Buffalo, WY, not Billings, MT. I-94 doesn't go through Buffalo, MT or WY (or NY).
Agreed with the mistakes. 25 ends at Buffalo, and doesn't go to Billings. 90 and 94 split in Billings not Butte. 19 goes to Nogales from Tucson at the 10 and not Phoenix. 88 out of Chicago, 74 in Illinois and as others mentioned are missing as well.
Interesting concept, and simplified.
You can't take I95 from Philly to NYC. There is a gap in NJ of over 20 miles.
Notice how the map says "simplified"? Maybe they removed the lesser interstate highways in order to simplify it.
And 65 does NOT go from Chicago to Grand Rapids.
