Do you power your blender with a stationary bicycle? Planet Green's television channel is getting ready for its June launch and is looking for viewer-submitted videos that feature green innovations.

  • Did you create something cool and eco-conscious?
  • Have you formulated a unique way of contributing to the green movement?
  • Did you invent something weird and wacky that you’re using in your everyday life to make the world a bit greener?

We think that if you’re reading this site in the first place, there’s a good chance you have some brilliant green wheels in gear, making you a likely candidate with sustainable star power. So whether you're:

A mad scientist concocting crazy alternative energy solutions…

or

Taking a stand like Al Gore and fearlessly re-inventing the green movement…

or

Getting down like Danny Seo in unique, crafty and carbon-free ways…

Tell us! E-mail GreenShowVideos at gmail dot com with your name, age, location, picture (.jpg format), and a brief paragraph explaining your original green concept/invention. And/or snail mail a video demonstrating your idea/invention to:

Have to admit to being more than a little dissappointed at Planet Green and your efforts at building a Green Community. Al and Tipper might have made a GREAT MOVIE, but they ARE NOT A GREEN COUPLE...buying some carbon credits to offset your 8000 square foot home (one of several ) does not make you green, any more than Arnold's Electric Hummer makes him green. Where are some discussions on doing more with less, changing our consumption driven life styles for the good of the planet, maybe changing our focus to services that require NO USE OF NATURAL RESOURCES for spending our money on.

I love the Tesla Roadster, but is it REALLY GREEN? How many of your readers have bought into the Nuclear Industry's propaganda of nuclear energy being clean and green without even researching the claims...by the way, nuclear energy is not clean, not green, and NOT CO2 free if you look at the entire fuel cycle cradle to grave. Emeril is NOT REALLY Green, and there are plenty of GREAT Green Organic Chefs out there worthy of Planet Green giving them a look. How about a show where a Green Guy travels around the nation exploring Organic/Green dining establishments? I'd volunteer to host that show...I love GREAT FOOD.

Green Hollywood...GIVE ME A BREAK...sorry Ed. Do you know how laughable it is for the Oscar's to even pretend being green...OH, I forgot, the stars were brought to the Red Carpet in Earth Friendly cars...did any of the stars CAR POOL? Take public transportation...try leading by example Hollywood!

Where are some GREAT GREEN SHOWS...50 contestants fighting over a miserly Green Get Away weekend is not really green programming. By the way, how about getting some FRESH CONTENT up on this website that is really green, and maybe a bit confrontational...where is some real GREEN DEBATE...sorry, discussions about $500 Green Eco friendly fashion bags is not how we are going to solve this planet's problems. We are not going to SAVE THE WORLD talking about GREEN HOLLYWOOD.

Lets cut the GREEN GLITZ and instead start seeing some REAL GREEN on Green Planet. This is starting to look like the Green Failure that was the AllGreen Magazine of which I blogged for until it FOLDED. Would hate to see Planet Green traveling down the same path as I think we need a serious GREEN NETWORK.
