While we love Daekwon Park's idea of retrofitting existing skyscrapers the best, the jury in the Evolo skyscraper competition thought otherwise. Controversial design concepts, but I do not particularly like the look of the buildings. I love the idea of how the Coastal Fog building conserves water particles in the vicinity, though.

the concepts are interesting, but unattractive.
and the coastal fog building, if it absorbs the fog to gain the water, isn't that removing the water from the water cycle?

I like them. Very innovative. They will be built in Europe and Asia, but never in the US.

if the building is taking fog for its use to be some what sustainable the what about new sustainable buildings that capture rain water for use in the toilets and to water plants and the grass?
