I've become a fan of the program WASTED! Usually seen on Monday nights. It seeks to answer the question asked my many who say that saving the planet is nice, but they have to see the effect of going green on their bottom line. Will it save them money??
I usually don't watch much television and don't really care for the semi-reality format that seems so common these days. But WASTED! is different. Set in New Zealand, each week the hosts confront a family with their wasteful ways and demonstrate how going green can save them money. Usually this involves such antics as confronting them with all the garbage they've thrown away for six months and how much they are wasting by not tuning their auto and not thinking about simple home repairs that can pay back in the long run.
Great program...check it out!!!!
