Sasquatch Promotes Bike-Friendly Streets

OK – we’re going to file this one under ‘strange’. Traffic calming measures like the raised crosswalk, or the chicane, that are being advocated by StreetFilms may not be popular with everyone (commenter Lummox certainly wasn’t impressed by anything that slows his car down). It appears, however, that they have proven a hit with Clarence, a rather unusual cycle activist. Clarence, you see, is a sasquatch, who has apparently come down from the mountains now that Portland’s city streets are safer for human-, sorry, sasquatch-powered transport. Maybe Portland’s cycle activists have too much time on their hands... ::StreetFilms::via site visit::

Very lovely there and quite green but I didn't see any pedestrians, people on the sidewalk, etc.
