I wonder when you guys will post something about how Microsoft, Yahoo!, HP, and other Silicon Valley tech companies are also too doing their best to being green. Google isn't the only one you know.
Another way (that's not some 'talk') for anyone to help be green, would be to use Windows Live Messenger (WLM) and copy the code to either help support either : stopglobalwarming.org or the Sierra Club. into your profile name.
Every time you IM, a portion of WLM"s ad revenue model will send just a little bit to the organization you chose. It's really neat, and the best part is that all 9 organizations are guaranteed to be given $100,000 by Microsoft. Isn't that awesome? Check it out, it's legitimate.

If renewables go to $3 a kwh, as suggested by google, our current era of cheap energy will continue. Meaning large houses, large cars, large highways, cheap nitrogen fertilizer production supporting mass acreages of feed crops for farm animals and biofuels, etc.
Better than making renewable energy the same price as coal, would be governments taxing coal to make it more expensive.
Although granted -- cheap renewable energy is a much better situation than climate change from carbon fuels.
