Congratulations to the Go Green Initiative’s School of the Week, Bartram Middle School Campus of the Bolles School in Jacksonville, Florida. They’ve been hard at work maintaining a campus-wide recycling program for the last two years, and recently introduced a campaign to stop littering on campus too. But that’s certainly not all…

Because they’re focusing on turning off lights, adjusting thermostats and closing doors whenever possible to save energy. And the Robotics team has even gotten in on the act, participating in the FL Lego League Tournament with the theme, “How energy production and consumption choices affect the planet and out quality of life, today, tomorrow, and for future generations.

With the cafeteria staff recycling the cooking oil used on campus and everything from ink and toner cartridges to cardboard and shredded paper being recycled as well, it’s clear the folks at Bartram Campus are giving their best to protect the planet!
