Hip Office: Ergonomic Workspace for Those on the Go
by Collin Dunn, Corvallis, OR, USA on 01.25.08

Those of us who are planted in front of a computer screen for most of our waking hours -- for work or play -- will appreciate this one. No matter how comfortable your chair is, we could all use more opportunities to get outside and play. If that isn't in the cards for your normal work week, the T Module "walking desk" might be the next best thing.
Walking on a treadmill at work would be great, but considering that treadmills suck (energy), providing a little human power would be a good way to go. As this walking researcher reminds us, people are designed to be mobile, and walking is better than sitting; might as well write some email at the same time. Hit the jump to see the module in action. ::HK Ergonomics via ::Product Dose

Sweet Jesus--This is the funniest thing! I can't stop laughing at how we'd all look like we're in Flock of Seagulls. If someone buys this and uses it, please come to my website and send me a pic.
even if it weren't so funny looking - it would be horridly uncomfortable to try to type with the keyboard pressed against your belly! lol
Anyone see "The Yes Men"?
This might work for sitting on the crapper.
Don't think this will work well since even a 5 pound laptop would weigh down this thing and typing would also be too close to be comfortable. Better to put the laptop on a raised table.
A 5 pound laptop will be too heavy for this and weigh it down. Not comfotrable.
even if the would work.. what a sad reality itis,,,on what it takes to get a good look of the grass and trees. we should move to the jungles and live off of fruits and veggis and sleep in some trees
=]!
well........peoples life spans... would surely decrease.. or plumet.. but hey! who cares?
