Slowmo Organic Cotton Design: Berlin Siblings Give Comfort a New Style

Quite often the incredible luck of living in Berlin, capital of striving creativity, strikes one all of a sudden. Discovering the Berlin-Freidrichshain based fashion design house Slowmo certainly adds to the sense that good things are happening in the city where east meets west. Slowmo writes a new fashion statement, which can be googled under words like "organic cotton, certified and fair-traded". Slowmo also uses only dyes which are non-toxic, non-allergenic and contain no heavy metals.

Slowmo is the brainchild of Siblings Melchior and Felicia Moss (yeah, like Kate Moss, so you won't forget their names soon). Slowmo designs give a new twist to the street fashions which dominate the Berlin landscape. The comfortable cotton fashions have an element of originality.

products_f_07.jpg A Slowmo hooded sweatshirt gives the impressions that galaxies may be tucked behind your ears. A stylish slim cut, cotton jacket contrasts with a soft, wide collar. The prices are not for street people, however. T-shirts start at 40€ for short-sleeves to 65€ for long-sleeves; Sweatshirts break into three figures; and jackets run as high as 180€.

Products are available at shops in Germany and through the Slowmo online store.

Bread and Butter, are you listening?
