Good Energy CEO on Leadership for Renewables

Science & Technology (alternative energy)

Juliet%20Davenport.jpgWe already covered Jeremy Leggett’s appearance on CNN’s Principal Voices program, and at the time we mentioned that Juliet Davenport, CEO of UK green electricity suppliers Good Energy would also be interviewed. Now, via the Good Energy website, we’ve come across an interesting profile of Ms Davenport that appeared in Time Magazine in connection with this series. Our favourite quote:

Personally I believe that the world leadership of tomorrow will come from the innovators and pioneers. Already in the U.S., consumers are embracing renewable energy, unlike the boys in the White House. Across the Atlantic, European leaders are also being left behind. Climate change will not wait for them to catch up, but luckily, neither will we.

Never a truer word spoken, especially considering this week’s comings and goings in Bali. For anyone wanting more information on clean, green, renewable energy, take a look at our guide on How to Green Your Electricity. ::Good Energy::via site visit::
